Biltong eating techniques

Sh!t not good news Crispin, the stuff i got from Susmans was sliced and wet and I was impressed, delivery was good etc.... this was last December but the droe wors to fatty.

but i see there are quite big price differences, with Susmans being much lower.

beef £28 versus £35 kg
droe wors £20 versus £30 kg EDIT, Bok And Rose seems good as well pricewise

I tried some that I got from the Saturday Petersfield market but nowhere as nice as the Susmans...

any more suppliers to check??.. we should have a B&B testing the different types.

St Marcus in Roehampton are pretty good - quite commercial with a HUGE selection of biltong and particularly droewors. My kids go berzerk in there - always costs me a fortune and if I drive home through Richmond Park, all the dogs start chasing my cruiser

We get our biltong and wors (fresh & droewors) from a local butcher who was trained in SA - his wors has won lots of competitions and is some of the best I've had anywhere. Really good. Have a look at www.johnbrash.co.uk

If you want some posted to France, let me know!!

Mmmm - will have to get some for the game tomorrow when Scotland thrash the Welsh :)
