Remove the Brake Caliper (two 17mm-headed bolts) and support the caliper on a piece of wire or string.
Remove Brake disk.
Rotate the hub until the broken stud is in line with the cut-out in the dust shield where the caliper sits then use a parallel punch and a club hammer to knock it out. The stud has splines and a heavy flanged end.
Knock the new one in from the back (don't worry about getting it fully home - it will pull into place when the wheel is replaced).
