Can u remove the front prop an still drive ?

As I still have centre diff issues, can I remove the front prop without loosing diff oil or anything ?

I may be wrong but I am sure that I read either here or on the other side someone giving exactly that advice for a very similar problem.

I'm sure someone will be along v.soon to prove me wrong though

if the centre diff is locked in I see no reason why not

Had to do about 2k miles like that, and if your rear bushes are worn be prepared to crab along the road though

Cheers, front prop will come off tomorrow then until I can get her fixed.

You can remove the rear prop and drive with the front wheels too. I know that from experience. Not something I plan to have to do again. especially whilst towing a trailer and quad bike.

That's really useful to know, Some Jeeps you couldn't remove the rear prop as it's all that holds the juice in the box I still have an incredible amount to learn about the new toy
