crank oil seal

Hi i have a 1992 4.2 td 12v hdj81 in port
Just had the clutch dune and the crank oil seal dune but the crank seal is leaking now .what I need to know is the crank seal the same as a hj80 UK? if it is then has any one had this problem ?

I bought a crank rear oil seal just in case I found a leak during the recent clutch change but didn’t fit it as the old one wasn’t leaking.
Part No. 90311-95008 is listed for all versions of the diesel engined 80’s from
01/1990 to 12/1997.

Common problem, the new seal should be driven in a little deeper than the old one, otherwise unless 100% straight the groove in the contact surface will literally wind oil out.

I did put a new one in mine even though it was not leaking, it is one of those choices you make. You could be damned if you do and damned if you don't, I was lucky.
