So both inner boots are split on my 120. Not a job I've ever done on any car before. From what I read the split boots you glue together in-situ don't last. So assuming I have to take the drive shaft out? If so are they typically awkward to get apart to fit a proper boot? Are the stretchy boots you fit over a cone worth using?

Thanks

:think:I'd fit a proper boot. It's not that bigger deal to separate the hub and remove the C.V. Otherwise you risk grease spitting out making a mess of your front suspension. My view is that universal parts are normally a bit of a bodge.
