Not really sure why I find this interesting but it's pretty good.
These guys take denim, soak it in resin, layer it and wait for it to cure. The result is a composite material which is silly strong, machinable and looks very nice when polished.
They use it for custom knife handles which look very nice. Not sure what application it has in the LC world but could make a nice thingy-ma-jig?
