Distressed 80 spotted near milton keynes

Just spotted an 80 with hazard lights flashing between Milton Keynes and leighton buzzard. By the time i'd been round the roundabout and back it had gone. Was it someone on here??
If so did you make it home??

Dark green/blue with spare mounted on rear door and stainless bullbar on the front.

Any clues who it might have been??
