hello guys, any ideas where to get a dog guard for an 80 series amazon?
would a 100 series fit or are they wider? dont really want a generic one
that jams up against the floor/roof ...any ideas welcome!
cheers
Claire :-}

Hi Claire,
A 100 series guard probably won't fit an 80 because the 100 is wider
internally.
The factory guards are like 3rd party guards that clamp to the roof and
the floor, but they can be put in pretty solidly - the big bugbear I
have with the factory one for the 80 iks that it has gaps at the sides
to allow the headreasts from the 3rd row seats to fit when the seats are
up at the sides - a bit of a pain if you have small dogs like terriers
which can easily get through.
On the plus side the factory guard has a section that enables you to
split the boot in two which provides greater stability and is handy for
seperating the load.
The Frogs guard is pretty good, although it is pretty tight up to the
back of the seats and prevents you from tipping them back.

The best I've seen, other than ones that have been specially fabricated, are
the Milford Cargo barriers from Australia. Again I expect they're pricey but
solid. Not sure where to get them from in the UK but I believe Outback
Import might be the people - sadly no contact details to hand but I'll have
a rummage...

Hi Guys,
Outback import are the people to speak to about a Milford barrier.
Yes they are a bit pricey if it is only to restrain a 4 legged friend!

FrogsIsland have an end of year sale/winter stock clearance at the moment,
so you might be able to pick up a bargain, they have an open day on the 6th
December I think.
Happy hunting
