dual fuel 80 running rough on gas or not running at all

Hey guys.

I just picked myself up a 1994 1fzfe dual fuel 80 it is a great car and I love it so far.
Never had a problem on the 2 hour drive home driving on gas but a day later after I changed the air filter it started to not idle properly and sounded as it was missing but drove fine, revved freely etc.
And after a couple hours it doesn't even want to run on gas any more.
But does run on petrol.
Turns over, starts but dies straight away.
Just want to know has anyone had a similar issues

hi dont take this the wrong way but do you have gas ? the led gauges are useless. did you starthome on a full tank and what size tank ? I have an 80 on a single point injection I have a 90 ltr tank and get almost 200 miles to a tank about 12 miles to the gallon at 65p a ltr..So may be out of gas.

you also need good plugs and leads.
petrol is more forgiving than lpg

Sounds like an air leak some where on the gas side. Probably from when you changed the air filter. I did the same on my old gas powered 80 !

have you checked to see if the stepper motor is opening?
