Yes they have maf and map sensors , the maf sensor is on or around the air filter box lid near the intake pipe that goes toward the engine via the turbo , it has a wide electronic plug going to it press the tab on the connector to release the connector, and is held on by two jis screws ,use the cars screwdriver in the backdoor tool kit to undo the screws or you risk damaging the screwheads if they are tight , usually if the maf or map sensor is dirty or bad as they work with each other the code is p1251 , if your maf sensor has not been cleaned and is dirty you will feel a improvement when cleaned , it needs cleaning with maf sensor cleaner as it is very delicate , check youtube and see how its done , I spray clean mine every 12k miles , one problem you also could have is a blocked or cracked map sensor filter , it is a small upright barrelled plastic container held in a C clip with two vacuum type rubber pipes top and bottom on the passenger side of the inter cooler when you take the plastic engine cover off five 10mm or 12mm bolts carnt remember the size off hand , to check your map filter disconnect the two rubber pipes and connect a same diameter pipe to the rubber pipes to bypass the filter and see if the engine runs better and check for hairline cracks in the base of the barrel filter coz it could be leaking pressure if it has cracks it usually has a light trace of oil seeping out , it can crack due to been blocked or just coz the plastic barrel has hardened over time with the constant heat of the been near the engine and cracked .
