Just to confirm, is the flexible aerial any good?

4x4cb has an offer including this aerial. Is it worth it?

Hi Nav,

Are you talking about the rubber duck style short rubber aerial? http://www.4x4cb.com/public/item.cfm?itemID=707 If so I have ordered one of these from them. I usually use a much longer whip, but for laning and when in a convoy this will be just the job as the damage potential is much reduced from low branches etc, in convoy you are only needing short range communications so this is perfect.

I spoke to Jim only yesterday from 4x4cb (very helpful and all round nice chap), these are on back order from the US and it will be a little while before more stock is in but well worth the wait in my opinion.

If it isn't this aerial then excuse the rambling, my preference on the whip side of things would be the Thorobred http://www.4x4cb.com/public/item.cfm?itemID=688 but no doubt everyone has their own perferences.
