What a crap day.
Desktop pc packs up - take it to a reliable repairer, the OS is the problem.
Uploaded XP onto, but hard drive is wiped as well.
The PC is only used for our Sage accounts and Sage payroll, so spent the after noon reloading them and adding the files I backed up (on Monday, thank the Lord!).
Payroll wont backup, so spent ages on the helpline trying to work out what was up.
How did computers take over?
And, wife has been nagging me to get a job, so I applied to a company, buggers want me to work for them 2 days a week.
And, the Prado failed its mot (centre box and fog lamp and some proportioning valve on the brakes)
On the bright side, wife is away in Egypt for a week tomorrow, leaving me in charge of 4 kids and her Disco 4.
Still, could be worse, could have to keep the Disco for more than a week.....
