Good Advice required please

I have a Land Cruiser 90 that requires a new engine (1KZ-TE) Apparently the balance shaft bearings have seized and it is not repairable. It recently had the oil pump drive replaced and really didn't sound or feel right after that, could the seizing be related ? I have also recently replaced the clutch, rebuilt the transfer box (rather had it rebuilt) and now this. The last two items were done before the engine seized and it has cost a fortune. I am struggling to find a suitable, affordable replacement engine. Any advice gratefully received !

Don't know if it would fit but there is a 1KZ-TE engine from a Surf on ebay right now going for £600 , might be cheaper to swap engines and take spares from yours . I say this in the hope somebody can say yeah or nah .
