Anyone running these, or can recommend some for my diesel Colorado? I do not want drilled (heard stories about cracking), just grooved.

I have 3G brakes grooved discs fitted to my 80 series. Damn good brakes and came highly recommended by Overland Cruisers and West Coast 4x4.

Yep mine were upgraded Nitric grooved disks [dba sometimes hard to source and expensive] with mintex pads and they made a big difference - braided lines too. All from JulianV

Cheers, I'll give them a call tomorrow.
They can be a nightmare to get hold of but worth it in the long run

I ran Brembo Max grooved discs on an old Astra I had along with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Stopping distance from 60 was damn near halved  dunno if this setup would be available for a collie but I would certainly run it again on any vehicle..

Jim.

I'd vote for the DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) ones ...

Are they available here, or do you order them from Oz?

Are grooved discs worth up to 6X the price of normal vented?
