Heater!!!!

No heater tonight????, rad still filled up to the top!!!!! top hose hot bottom cold!!!!

Temp gage still at normal,,,,

Any suggestions would be appreciated ,,,,,,

Definitely don't want a cracked head due to rad problems,,,,

or am i just worrying for nothing????

Sounds like air lock in the matrix to me. Have you drained it recently?

Is the heater valve operating when you turn the control in the cabin ??

Its just a push/pull wire that moves a lever under the valve.

If its OK; try parking on a slope with the nose as high as you can get it, open the heater valve fully and let it run for a bit.

That usually clears airlocks in the heater for me

Chris, thanks for your reply,,,,, I do not know how to drain the heater matrix???, is it separate from the radiator???

Bob, as always fantastic pics!!!!, I will go and have a look for that valve??, and will try and park with the font end up in the air,,,,,,,

If all fails,,,, i will have to try and drain all the system???

It largely bleeds itself. When you drain the rad, you drain the water out of the heater too - or you can do. When you fill up again it can take a while to get all all the air back out. Nothing major. Glad it's nice and warm again.
