Actually, Ellejoy is just a community name, but it lies a few minutes from Townsend, Tn., gateway to the Great Smoky Mtns National Park. My name's Greg, and I am a new member. I currently own a '78 FJ40 with stock engine/tranny, Weber Carb, ARB Bull Bar and OME suspension, w/ 33" tires. I'm interested in acquiring a '70 series, and was wondering if any has experience, importing such from countries like Costa Rica, Ecuador, or other Latin/SA countries. Thank you.

Hi Greg and welcome...

There have been posts on here in the past about importing from Costa Rica so it's worth trying the search facility to find them. If my memory serves they were in the 40 series section.

Any photos of your 40 would be enjoyed by several members on here.
