No, not the name of a new member. It's where I am! Just about to turn the key on the cruiser loaded for birthday shooting weekend in Scotland when I felt some discomfort. Within the hour I was on A&E. When I say pain I mean on a level never felt before. Seems it was a kidney stone. Still here wasting the day with reports of record numbers of bambis seen up there.

Hospital now out of morphine they had to give so much.

Anyone fancy trying to break me out of here. Meet at the West gate in 15

Chris

Ouch, Chris, sorry to hear that! I've heard that kidney stones are extremely painful - and they're caused by not drinking enough

Hopefully there's a relatively painless way of getting rid of it and you're back up on your feet quickly! Bit of a bugger happening on your birthday weekend.

Cheers,

Ooh - ouch! Sorry to hear that. Stick to the South African red in future! Hope the ultrasound can break it all down for you

Happy birthday too - hope you do get to enjoy it soon.

Cheers

Sorry to hear this Chris. What terrible timing! (not that there is ever a good time). Your not having the best run of it recently.

I remember my dad suffering the same condition, he ended up having them zapped with some kind of laser if I remember correctly, although that was many years ago now, and they've probably got a new way to sort them now. I do hope that they can get you comfortable, and all fixed up very soon.

You wait, next they'll be telling you that they can't get their much needed surply of morphine due to the snow! You might have to volunteer the Land Cruisers services!!

Hope your luck picks up soon mate, and they get you all sorted ASAP.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Chris

Sorry to hear that Chris, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Happy Birthday too! :occasion-birthdaymulticolor:

Get well soon. Bambie can wait a few weeks

Your woody's dead??? Oh no - not that as well???!!!

Be careful what you wish for, old chap!!

Take care - leave the nurses - they're probably ALL male anyway. Hope you get out today, so be on your best behaviour!

Oooh Chris, that's not good, I've suffered from kidney stones twice so I know just how painful it can be, all my sympathies mate, and :occasion-birthday: drink loads of

when I had the stones the doc said it was OK, lots of any fluid helps.

No problem breaking you out Chris... but you do really kinda need to get that zapped first mate ;)

Wishing you the best... fingers crossed it all passes quick and quiet.

... and of course... "H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y" ol' chap

Chris,

I think that stones are caused by shooting too much, and also using a plasma cutter, so as a favour to you I will be round to take all your kit  just tell the wife to give me the keys and I will help myself.

Hope they let you out for the weekend, and get well soon .

Andy

Ouch - that doesn't sound very pleasant....

I think they use ultrasonics to break them up... followed by plenty of drinking to flush them out  So if/when they're zapping - tell them to TAKE THEIR TIME!

Well get well soon - we all need a dose of your fabricating porn, all these new tools and it goes quiet...

Sorry to here that Chris ,perhaps a trip to Spain is what you need - my GP has advised me that regular beer intake will prevent kidney stones ;)

The only thing that could make your day worse is if it snows and you can't play out ..

Get well soon pal

hope your better soon Chris.
