Hello every body,
i have just joined and would like some advice from the moderators, or the people in the know!
I have a company called sense of adventure, i build and prep 4x4’s for the overland, defence and utility market.
I also manufacture storage systems, specialist trailers and animal transit boxes for land cruisers, land rovers and other 4x4's.
I am a new company , but have been in the land rover circle (but i am also a cruiser owner,80 series) for some time and i am looking to forward my business as well as offering forum members great deals.
i am willing to offer good discounts to forum members.
I can brand products with your logos or even produce a line of elcoc branded products for the forum.
i dont want to upset any forum moderators by thinking im just here to advertise, this is a 2 way win win deal.
i am willing to help with the forum and donate to help the progression of the forum.
i would like to offer extremly good deals on group buys and would like to donate a amount to the forum for each sale made through it.
many thanks
William Anderson

William, welcome to the forum. We have several members who also run businesses or provide services. As long as you give as well as take then there is no problem at all. I have looked at you products and they're darn nice.

I shall leave it to Admin to contact you further to take up any banners or anything like that.

I hope that it all works out.

Chris

Welcome William. We have the Commercial For Sale section that you are welcome to use to advertise any special offers you have for club members and of course you are welcome to join in any of the threads as a regular member :)

And don't forget to check your e-mail! I've never been particularly patient and the suspense is killing me.

Chris

Hi William, and a very warm welcome to you. Glad to see you on here.

I met you and your good lady wife at the Peterborough show a few weekends back, and was admiring the draws that you'd installed into the 80 series that you had on display. (I was the guy that bought Paul Marsh over to see you).

Guys, as I said, I've seen William's work first hand and he'd made a very good job of designing, producing and fitting the twin drawers into the back of the 80 that was on display (pics of the drawers are on his web site), in a very short space of time! The quality of finsh was very good, and you could see that a lot of thought had gone into the design and installation, so that things like rattles were eliminated from the finished product.

The only thing a didn't like was the chequer plate finish, a personal issue really, but when I discussed it with William he said that there were a number of different finish options, and that in this case chequer plate had been used as it was to the customers specification. Both William and his wife, have a very good knowledge of the material options for the products, and are quite happy to discuss the pro's and con's of each.

I had a good chat with William, and said to him that there would probably be a fair bit of interest in his 80 series drawers from members of the club. I also asked if he had any other ideas in the pipeline for further 80 series products, and it turns out he does  As he mentions in his post, he's also very open to suggestions on products that people would be interested in. It would seem he's very open to modifying one of his existing products to a customers requirements, or designing and making something from scratch. Judging by the quality of his products, he obviously has a tallent for design and some very nice machinery!

So people fire your ideas at him, as it's not that often that people venture into niche markets like ours, hopefully we can all benefit from his offer of nice kit for our trucks!

(Before you ask, no I'm not on the payroll! I've only met William once, and I was impressed with his products and attitude. He's certainly someone I'd be happy to do business with).
