As requested, a quick introduction. I'm Jim and I have just made a 1991 LJ78 a U.S, citizen. I've been looking at RHD Turbo diesel rigs to import and settled on this little gem. I will be personalizing this rig in the months ahead. That means I'll probably be asking a ton of questions as I go.

Congrats on getting the truck into the US, how easy was it?

It was very easy. As long as you have the signed registration and a bill of sale, and the VIN or in this case the Chassis numbers match (registration and vehicle) you only need pay 2.5% duty on purchase price. Note: vehicle must be 25 years old to import into the U.S.
