G'day guys,

Great to be here. I drive a 1990 80 series, which has been slowly modified into a capable tourer

I've done a heap of mods:

- ARB winch bar
- Narva LED light bar
- Narva replacement reflectors and plus 120 globes
- Safari front mount intercooler
- ARB replacement wiring loom
- Icom UHF
- Aluminium Roof Racks
- Kaymar rear bar with twin tyre carriers
- Air bags in the rear
- Eaton ELockers front and rear
- 5" GPS/DVD player
- EGT Gauge
- Cargo Barrier
- Drawer System
- 285/75/R16 BFG KM2's

Love the vehicle; it goes very well. It has 355k on the clock, but was rebuilt about 90k ago.

Welcome to the club Aaron, looking good there, I do like a white 80.

Thanks for the welcome guys. It's actually a turbo diesel - 1HDT engine. Also, I forgot - it's got a safari front mount intercooler!

Where abouts do you normally go 4wding Aaron?

Have you done any big trips? :icon-biggrin:

Yeah, we burn our annual leave every year travelling. In march this year we did 3 weeks down south - Israelite Bay in Esperance to Thomas River, Orleans Bay, Stokes National Park, Bremer Bay, Albany, Denmark and Dunsborough.

The year before we did 3 weeks up north - Karijini, Cleaverville, Exmouth, Gnaraloo Station, Denham (Francios National Park).

We do plenty of short trips too - weekends and anything local around Perth.

I run a 4WD blog too, which I can't link to as I haven't posted 15 posts yet, called 4WDing Australia. There are heaps of trip reports/product reviews and photos on there

Reading your blog is inspiring me to get over to WA! :icon-cool:

I've driven 4wd's round every state except WA, as for one reason or another I've just never got across to the West Coast.

Thanks guys.

You should most definitely come to WA - the coast here is incredible, and there is plenty to see inland too. For example, Karijini National Park is often referred to as the best national park in Australia!

Feel free to ask any questions, and let me know when you are over here!
