How many km per liter? 3.4

I soon provided to find a diesel that is not rusted away in the chassis ...


I am considering to look for petrol models with automatic transmission instead ...


How far they drive per liter in mixed mode?

I get 5.7 km/lt around town and 7.1 km/lt on a long run (16 & 20 mpg UK) in my standard 3.4 petrol 5 door automatic. Never varies.

I owned my cruiser for 10 years now and have been getting just over 8 km/lt (22mpg) on a M'way run on Petrol and about 7 km/lt (20mpg) doing same journey on LPG.

Around town , this goes down to around 6 km/lt (17mpg) on Petrol and 5.5 km/lt (15mpg) on LPG.

These figures have been pretty consistent for years, with only (very) small variations due to seasons/weather.

Yes, this is roughly the engine speed I cruise at when possible - perhaps a tiny bit lower 2800rpm, unless on the Autoroutes....

3000rpm in top gear on my auto is about an indicated 80mph on the speedo, which is approx 75mph according to GPS (This is on 265/75R16s). On stock tyres, it would closer to 70mph according to GPS.

I'm now getting used to 3.2L/100km, but that's not in my Landcruiser!
