So, following on from a thread in the lounge where an in car camera appears to have proved invaluable in an accident I thought I would post to see what suggestions people have. I have been thinking about it for a while as insurance fraud is on the up here, and is very prevalent in Eastern Europe where I drive a lot.

I am looking for a cost effective and reliable system that I can swap between vehicles.

Any ideas?

I have had a cheapo 17€ one in the cruiser for some time, but just ordered an up to date one for 29€ for the van - We also have a go pro copy for the riding helmet of the misses just for training, and of course over here French drivers have a competition to see who can get closest to the hoss doing a trillion kph!

I fancy the idea too actually. I understand there is an app you can get so you just use your phone in a holder.

I bought something similar to the 1st link - less than £15 and it would happily record onto a SD card on a loop, until I accidentally sat on it. There are more expensive ones, like the 2nd link.....horses for courses and all that.

P.S. I have no connection with either of the above sellers.

I guess at those sort of prices I should stop being such a tightwad and but one for each car!!
