For my next trip i need to get some holiday insurance for my trip to Bulgaria/Turkey my family one will not cover me anymore (they change the blood rules again)

Any ideas what company might be able to help with this

i have car insurance but need hoilday insurance for any accident i have

We have travel insurance on M&S credit card, paid for. Might be worth a look. Also have a look at Coversure as they do specialist Pre existing condition cover. We used to use one a long time ago and the name escapes me. If I think of it I’ll post it up.

sometimes you are best to go off-piste for this type of insurance, the main players will all be on the same hymn sheet. try one of the small brokers with a copy book and no internet...

Unless driving off road is specifically excluded then you should be alright. Camping shouldn’t be a problem. I work in the industry, who’s your bank?

"should be"
i love those 2 words its a get out clause for insurance company

i want it in writing before i part with cash again

I’ve been using AA Travel insurance. Not sure I’ll renew with them after having difficulty with a claim recently.

The claim I had was in a campsite but that wasn’t the problem

It depends on the insurance company, there are good and bad. The ombudsman is very tough on insurance companies so if you don’t agree with a decision complain. The ombudsman will side with the customer the vast majority of the time.
