I am still a bit new to this, so go easy. On my recently acquired 80 there is this device holding the rear passenger window in place. Whilst to the uninitiated it appears to be a simple plastic sucker (as used to stick Garfield's and other annoying gonks to the windows of Novas in the early 1990's).
However once moved the window plummets into the cavity with alarming speed. I was wondering if it is some expensively engineered adventure modification? Perhaps to allow a speedy emergency exit in case of imminent over-landing danger (quick-sand, rhino-charge, volcano etc)
Please advise before I make an expensive mistake!
