Land Cruiser 79 Series, Troopy, Engine temperature gauge not working

Hey All, bumped into this website while researching troubleshooting guides for TLC 79s, and joined right away, bunch of great guys and very informative as well. Stoked to be a part of this!

Anywho, I’ve got a problem with my 79 series, the engine temperature gauge doesn’t seem to be moving at all when switching power on or off (also with engine on or off), I can check the basic stuff, but would really appreciate some pointers, quick but simple fixes and all as well.

Update: After some hours of digging, finally found the wire coming out from the transducer was broken inside the insulation.
