LandCruiser in Papua New Guinea

Hi, I'm a Dutch national living in Belgium but currently posted to Papua New Guinea, living in the capital Port Moresby where I use a 1999 LandCruiser V8. Am having serious problems with the car so hopefully somebody here can help! Cheers, Rudie

Never been there, but my sis-in-law has spent 4 months of the year in PNG for the last 6 years.
There’ll be a few having a go at fixing your problem, once you’ve given a few details...

Hi Clive, thanks for your reaction. Interesting that your sis-in-law has been spending time in PNG. In Port Moresby or elsewhere in the country? My problem is a faulty ECU that needs to be replaced but is not produced anymore. Surprised both me and my local Toyota dealer here in Belgium but that's the way it is. Am now looking for a used one to bring back to PNG once I can travel there again in (hopefully) early August so that the official Toyota workshop there, Ela Motors, can fix it so fingers crossed!
