Looks like I got me a unit. Yuk yuk. Update

No just another joke Chris. Sorry I'll try harder next time.

You double check those locks my son. I'm paranoid about security after the travelling community travelled away with some pieces of my friends engine in the 80's. And then someone tried to break in here but failed. Looked like a giant woodpecker had been at the doors.

Don't worry Frank. It's safe. Thing is that it's very remote and you'd struggle to know it's there. Secondly there is someone on the property almost continually as it's a working farm. Thirdly there is tonnes of other stuff lying around that you'd fill your boots with before ever considering breaking onto what could turn out to be an empty unit. There's car and caravan storage, canoes, trailers etc and then sheds all over the place too. They could get in despite the best security, but honestly I don't think they'd get that far. Place has been there a long time and my mates have had no trouble in all the time they've been there. I won't be leaving really valuable stuff in there. You know, stuff like Snap On tool kits and such.

It's storage for things I am fed up of tripping over.

Nice lift Ben, but I can use the one in the other shed so I hear.. There are roof trusses as well I thing so there is a limit to how high I can go up in there.

Bring warm clothes. I fancy making an oil burning heater for the corner of the unit. Need to see if I can poke a flue out somewhere.

I've got a proper one that I'm selling Chris £500.

you could make one quite cheap though

That's the plan Karl and then run it on waste engine oil when I am up there.

My brother runs a car tuning business in a small unit. He has an oil burner and collects from garages as and when. He has to have a licence and the fines are heavy without. Whether he needs a licence for oil burning because he is also a business or for just the fact he is burning oil I don't know but worth checking out?

Well I did say it wasn't that big but it's a start. It's 4100 x 6700. Big enough for the Grey one and full racking across the end with a meter each side if parked centrally. Nice and dry. Lighting poor but I have found a tap! Loads of room outside to work in the Summer and I have had a peek in the unit with the 4 post ramp. That's lush.

A nice useful space. Tap will be great, you just need to plumb it into a tea urn, then you are ready to go. Have fun kitting it out.

Good idea but as the 80 will be there I have everything I need including a bed for the night. Inside!

Nice usable space there Chris, will be nice and cosy with that heater fired up.

I guess there would be people in London would consider that a house! Nice that there is plenty of room, all sorts of help around including farm loaders and such. It's the long blue pitched roof building. More than that I am not saying ha ha.

As luck would have it, my neighbours have vacated the unit next door and now, IT'S MINE!!!! Fantastic. it means I have my drive and front lawn back and the overlander and trailer are now stored in a nice dry unit. The trailer has to go in sideways but it fits. I can open up the door between if I want to.

Guess that gives me some room to buy something else .....?

Nice one. Little sneaky view of the blue one too

I was also going to say that Gary. Is that the first time we have seen (the blue one) on here Chris?

Sorry guys not sure what you're on about. I think that what you're seeing is just something reflecting in the camera lens. Blue one? What? It's just a trailer.
