Lost Keys

Managed to lose the key for my HJ47, according to Toyodiy
its the same barrel set right through the 40 range.
Does anyone know if theres a key number on one of the barrels (long shot)
Or where to get a new drivers door barrel so I can lock it, thanks

I changed my door locks years ago and I may have the old ones still. Let me have a look tomorrow.

I can't find the old locks, probably left them in the UK with some other stuff. Not there till April.

If memory serves I got my new locks from either SOR or one of Mr Toyota's dealers. Might be worth trying Euro 4x4 as they link into Toyota Europe.

Now I've made 15 posts I will get some pictures up.

SOR are Spectre OffRoad. They used to accept overseas credit cards but don't anymore, so I use a Borderlinx address (£5 fee) and that gives a USA address and they onward ship it, obviously for a cost. Worth viewing SOR's site as their online catelogue is very informative (but there's a lot of it!).
You'll probably have to talk with Euro 4x4 as they don't list stock parts but can get them (usually)

Hi,
The key number is on the side of the barrel. The first number of the 4 is the key shape, but a key man would need all 4 numbers. If you only had one key for doors and ignition, then taking a door lock barrel out is a lot easier.
