Looks really well, Keith.
Have you any photos of the rebuild as there is always information, tips to be gained from them.
For instance how you mount the hi-lift jach to the door pillar....
As I get time I will cut n paste my rebuild thread onto this forum
To mount the hi-lift jack requires 3 bolts (used as locating studs) in the floor board
And one 14mm hole drilled into the side of the body , on my next 40 I will not use this method, I will use a made up bracket that will screw onto the wndscreen hinge bolt holes
BTW - thought you'd like to know - a bunch of us ar off to Byo-Zim next weekend on the bikes
Taking all the old DIRT back roads in via Antelope Mine, Kezi, Matopos etc etc
Keith, when you get to Kezi, please say a mental 'hello, yebo, kunjane' for me. Spent a lot of time there as a kid on a ranch, and had some very very close ranching friends killed there back in the late 70s. I learnt to drive there as a kid of 9 in an old Series LR (run, duck, hide... ). Still miss them, and those good old bad days ...
Are you going via Plumtree? My old school - what a blast ...
I'll copy across and sort the Kermit thread for you.
