.......took the day out to drive some local lanes with my son Robert before he starts school tomorrow A friend of mine Pete jumped in with me & Rob for the day & another m8 Giles & his son Luke joined us for the day in his LR90
I'm a little uncertain with regards to the body roll & suspension compression that these Collies have
I'm going to give some consideration towards removing the ARB's I think
Time for some Pin Strips
Now here's a good opportunity to investigate the body roll during compression I've watched countless videos of Collies doing there thing off road & pondered over many many many photos & the thing that keeps striking me is how much body roll there is on a Collie when the suspension is under compression
Compare this with my Vitara with loads of compression the body's still nice & flat No ARB's fitted
So I jumped under the back for a closer look & sure enough the axle has not hit its stop but the body has become sprung & unstable I believe due to the ARB's I can't help but feel that Fiery's ARB's days are numbered for me What you guys think I've spent quite some time discussing this with Paul @ West Coast But would be interested in your thoughts & experiences
All in all though a great day with great weather great company & a great truck
