Power Window Problems...

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help, I'm having an issue with both the front & rear power windows not moving, but only on the right hand side!?


I've also made sure the lock control mechanism isn't on...

Has anybody encountered this before?

Any help is appreciated

Not sure on the 100 series but it sounds like a broken wire or maybe they are fused left and right. Just guessing really. If there is a broken wire it will likely be in the drivers door loom.
Does the rear door work on its own switch or on neither its own or the drivers switch?

I would check you have power at the relivent door switches.
This will tell you if it is a problem inside the door mechamism (after the switch) or a power supply problem (before the swich).

The weird thing was I was getting power to the rear right hand side window, but only to go down?

Anyways, I managed to fix the problem by pulling off the door panel and checking all the wiring connections that ran to the control unit. A couple of them were loose in the block so I tightened them up and hey-presto back to normal.
