Hello all,
My '92 HDJ80 doesn't have heat coming out of the dashboard and I don't know
where to look for after I did/observed the following:
- Manual valve (on firewall in engine compartment) is fully opened.
- Heat is coming out of rear heater full blast.
- In-dash fan is working properly
- Coolant level is good.
- In engine compartment, I unplugged the hoses going to and coming from the
front cabin heater and ran a flow of water through it => nothing came out
(rust, goo, shit, ...) and the flow ran very well, hence the heater core is
not plugged.
The Shop manual refers to a "heater relay" but I don't know what this relay
is supposed to do nor where it is located. At first I guessed it was a relay
used to regulate the heat in automatic A/C-Heater systems, but the shop
manual refers to it in its NON-automatic A/C-Heater system chapter...
Any advice/idea welcome.
I hate driving with a warm ass and cold nose (need to run the front
ventilation for defogg) ))
Thanks on advance,
Lio
