Had a leak on the front of the diff which is more than just a seal and a fair bit of play. Took diff out yesterday and it's clean with no metal bits, crown and pinion seem fine.
it looks like the front pinion bearing is foo barred, can't tell until I press it out but 99% sure it's that.
Question is.... Do I just to that bearing whilst the diff is out or replace all 4 bearings in the diff? Anything else I should do?
Or go half way and just do the 2 pinion bearings?

if it's front bearing only guess that's from Toyota as Milners don't seem to do one

thanks

Hi,
Just some info on the bearing, it will have a part number on it somewhere use this to get a replacement from a bearing supplier, it should be much cheaper than Toyota, also try and get a good quality bearing as there are lots of cheap poor quality ones around you probably have "Koyo" in there at the moment.

Thanks, got a refurb kit with full set of oem bearings on their way, gasket, seal etc... Cost me €270 though. Any tips on replacing them and measuring backlash!
