Hi All !! I'm looking to do away with drums on rear for discs
does anyone know if I could use the 2.4 rear calipers and disc that milners do for my truck but not use the same handbrake drum ??
Instead I've brought a hydrolic handbrake which I'll use a moped front disc and caliper to mount as an x handbrake ??

You can use the disc and caliper. . To leave out the inner hand brake setup.

But you need the carrier that has the wheel bearing and the caliper mount.

Like this... maybe someone will say its the same as a 90 series, which I suspect it is.
Good luck with it mate:thumbup:

What about if I just make my own caliper brackets?? 8mm 10mm steel maybe??
Not too worried about a backing plate to be honest Iwan are lj78 pado half shafts the same if the have disc brake on rear?? Have you got any?? Rear calipers??

Doesn't the hand brake have to have a manual linkage? Pretty sure your not allowed hydraulic, Ben's got a pretty good write up with his using Subaru calipers

I'll have a loom into it but the hey hydraulic handbrake will be separate to the brakes...
