This weekend while taking tyres off to check brake pads and general condition of axles, piping, wiring etc one of the rear wheel hub stud bolts for the wheel nuts had broken off

Is there an easy way to replace these without taking the axle apart. ie can I just take the disk off and knock the broken stud out without dismaneling further?

Thanks

Yes, just like that.

Found the answer - I should have checked it out better before posting.....

Next daft question:
Toyota are quoting 2 different prices for front (£2.89) and back studs (£7.01), but Milners are advertising a stud that fits both front and back. See
http://www.milneroffroad.com/toyota-uk/ ... wheel-stud

Any one have any thoughts?

I think the rears are a longer stud but it's been a while since I messed with them so worth double checking.

James did you get the Milner or Toyota ones in the end? I've just snapped a rear stud!
