Anyone know where the receiving unit is?

I have a strange occurence where by if it's cold/damp or really wet my key fobs stop working works fine in the door locks and the central locking works as normal. If it warms or dries up my fob will then work again.

Want to check for water ingress, loose or damaged connections etc

I had some issues a while back with my central locking after heavy rain, then after a few days of dry weather it would fix itself. If you pop the bonnet in the top corners of the engine bay just below the bottom corners of the windscreen check for any debris, leaves twigs etc. Mine was all blocked with leaves simply causing water to trap there instead of drain the direction intended, so water was leaking into the passenger side above the glovebox. may not be the case with yours but a simple check that I know do regularly :grinning:
