Rev Counter not working

So,, after fixing several problems, I'm getting towards the end of the list of things that need doing.

List of what has been done done :

Changed alternator
Changed battery
Changed starter motor
Changed voltage regulator

But for some reason, my rev counter is doing nothing, and my orange turbo stays permanently lit and my green turbo light never lights up.

Where should i look first?

what model do you have.

BJ73 are infamous for getting damaged when gearbox is dropped out or engine changed.

iirc the cable enters the bell housing on the top near side sort of under and to the left of the brake master cylinder/servo. It's tucked right back under the bulkhead tunnel.

I've seen more than one snapped off with the cable dangling around in the engine bay.
