Morning All,
We have had a number of new subscribers over the last couple of months
who are lurking in the background.
It would be great if some of you could post some introductory messages
telling us about yourself, your LC and what you use it for or plan to
use it for - I can pretty well guarantee that you are likely to find
others here who either live locally or have similar plans.
So, don't be shy, step forward and say hello. :)

post, a nut at a time ive been told . Plus to add insult to injury he will
not use a stamp on any thing he sends back to you, so you will have to pay
for all the postage as well.;-)

Hi Everyone,
Stumbled across the mailing list a couple of weeks ago whilst on the hunt
for a cruiser to replace the various dead and dying LR's I had and signed up
straight away - the mailing list thing is still new to me so please be
gentle with me if I make an odd mistake or two!
I used to have a HJ60=A0about 5 years ago which I loved but it started with
the dreaded body rot and ened up going the way that most of the other UK
60's do :(
I'm currently on the lookout for an 80 series so if anyone knows of any sub
=A34000 than I might be interested - either standard or semi modded (don't
want anything too extreme but small lift and big wheels would be the sort of
thing I'd be doing any way)
All being well I'll be going to the RGS workshop at Terrington as it's only
10 min up the road from me so might get to put faces to names - we'll be the
ones with the green Jimny (don't laugh - it's SWMBOs) and Oztent.

No LC at mo but looking for an 80.

Ciao tutti
Just starting off on my Land Cruising adventure - proud owner of a '94
HDJ80 which I intend to lift/mod/soop & go play with on whatever lanes
are left available to us at the time as & when time & family allows...
Family car/'van puller is a '98 Colorado which started the whole thing
off last summer :)
I live on the Wirral (NW, near Liverpool/Chester for other geographical
numpties like me...) so will be looking for local support when I attempt
my first mechanical works... Swivels & BEB's coming up when I manage to
get my driveway tarmacced!!!
Keep on trucking!!
Cheers
Gavin

Hello All,
I met some of you at Lincomb. I was the fella in the red Prado shorty.
I've only had it since January and it's got no mods other than a
broken antenna.
I also have an Irish BJ40 who's previous owner sold it to me as a 1979
but which toyodiy lists as an '83. Still haven't received the promised
paperwork... It's currently being stripped down to the frame as the
body went the way of all its rusty compadres.
When time and money become less elusive, the 40 is going to get an
aluminum tub and all the toys in prep for some slow overlanding to who
knows where. In the meantime, I will be scratching up the Prado on
Dartmoor and the play days.
I've been enjoying the forum immensely...
