Hi guys, Next year around june I will be moving to the states which means good bye to my cruiser. However I was looking into shipping her there but they have so many safety test and emissions test.

Is it worth it? Anyone done this before or know if it can happen. I dont mind the cost of shipping it there as I plan on shipping most of my things in a container so might as well stick her in it too.

If not, then I guess I will have to let her go!

Seem to remember the age of the vehicle is key to escape many regulations, over 10 years?

Yes, but it is if it is over 25 years. Its only 15 years old, unless some how I can trick them?

It depends on which of the 52 states you are going to use it in.
Not all states have the same laws.

Planning on going florida.... so is it possible to register the cruiser under the least strictest state and then is it fine to drive in all 52 states.....?

That should be a runner, once a vehicle has FL plates it can be used interstate AFAIK.
