Hi , I’m a new member Spider41 (Ray)
I live in Scotland and I just purchased a 1992 Prado SX LJ78
its needing a lot of work before it will be ready for the road.
the plane is to spend the next 18 to 24 months getting it back on the road
I drove my first Landcruiser in Dublin in the late 70s , Iraq in the 80s and Africa and Kyrgyzstan in the 2000s

Yes , the LJ78 is retirement project

Slow progress , chassis ready for sand blasting everything looks ok and only had 3 bolts broken on the rear bump stops , drilled out and taped 10mm , next job is to remove the brakes and suspension for the axles and send everything with the chassis for sand blasting.
