Sump Cover

Have been going through some of the service items that have been neglected on my cruiser in it's 10 year life, so got round to doing fluid changes this week, so removed the plastic guards from under the sump and transfer box, and this is what I found.

A load of sound deadening crap soaked in oil and water, have bunged it all in the bin so it should save around 5kg, probably doesn't need all that crap anyway.

strange that they'd put sound deadening under the truck! does it look OEM?

Yes it does, it had proper plastic clips holding it to the cover also had tin foil type of heat shield on th top layer.
