After much discussion and many options;

Leafy, Foresty, Broccoli, Greene, Bushy, Froggy, Toady etc.

The kids have decided that the new truck is to be called;

SWAMPY

Well, although I've never named any Cruiser or any other car one truck I have has inherited an identification, that being the Chevy Suburban. Known to Al and myself as "the Starship" or "The Enterprise" for its size, ability to travel long distances in comfort without refuelling.



I thought the 100 was pretty big but.....

It will scrape 700 miles on a standard tank but if you have the factory long range option you can get more than 1k miles out of a tank.
Anyway its a diversion, this is a LC site.

Thank you Im very pleased with her She could do with a good T-cut though. There is a plan in place with regards the wheels. The steel modulars on her are not black, but are Gun Metal and could do with a bit of a tidy up. I had a quote to get them powder coated black but this was more money than just buying new ones More to come on this as I've sourced some replacement wheels and they want be silver

Good point, but to be fair though I do still own Fiery, well untill Monday

Yep Steve I think the 285's are the best choice for 90% road 10% off road, if you were on a farm doing a lot of off road driving I would have said the other way round. I tried both sizes myself last winter (on an 80) and on the road I found the 285's gave me more confidence on the tarmac, especially if you were pressing on a bit, but in snow and mud the 255's edged it in grip.

I want to name mine "creaky" or "clunky" at the moment. Had new castor adjustment and ARB bushes fitted and now she's creaking and clunking when she feels like, it's very annoying!

I need to get under and check that they're tight before I take it back to service. Any other suggestions? Wrong thread really, just having a moan

Some comparison photos of Fiery and Swampy on the Sunday after getting her home





Here i'd lined up the fronts and side mirrors so I could get a comparison photo between a 90 and a 95 Colorado/Prado length











Then gave her a bloody good pressure wash as she'd not been done since her visit to Lincomb

Oh and removed all of the stickers and GX badges













I also fitted some silvered indicator lamps and crystal side repeaters







I've also fitted my new Numax deep cycle battery and removed some redundant wiring and the second battery
