I bought a new turbo ..max-speeding rods..and I am having problem as the new studs thread wont fit into the turbo side. The studs are from a full turbo fitting set FA1 PL. I tried the old studs and they too wont fit into the turbo thread!!! Andy one had a similar issue???

It's a problem and we all know on the forum that we don't like this!

Surely max speeding rods should be able to help as they supplied this... Are the studs the same diameter and the thread pitch is different?

If the diameter of the studs are different then the ball lies directly in their court...

I tried all I could and they had the cheek to advise me to buy ’correct fitting studs’ as I did not know the specs for the landcruiser studs.Any way we disagreed and my garage me sent me contact for machinist at H&M hydraulics who machined four studs for me to suit the new turbo holes !!

Glad you got required help David, and for naming H&M for helping you out, full marks

Even better naming max speeding rods for selling you items then having no further interest.
Cheek is an understatement, I would call it taking the pi$$ !!
