Turbo upgrade question

Hello guys, i am very new to this forum so please bear with me, the ct26 turbo on my cruiser have seen its last days, so i am looking for a replacement without changing more than the turbo itself, what options do i have apart from the stock turbo, can i install a garett gt series?, gt2871 and still reap the maximum or close to max the capability of the stock injection system. Thanks any comments is welcomed....
