Upper ball joint

Has anybody tried removing the upper ball joint from the top wishbone, have just done the lower one without too much problem, but the complete upper arm is £220 from my motor factors, so was trying to save some dosh.

Yes I had seen those post's thanks, it was reading those that gave me the idea of doing it myself, also looking at buying a ball joint service tool/press that you can use with the arm still on the vehicle.
