and 2000 lbs difference in weight, i would say the jeep did well enough.

The LC whipped the jeep up the hill with ease! I know the jeep's lighter, but the LC didn't miss a beat! Excellent!

I do admit, the 80 Land Cruiser is a bit heavier than the Wrangler, but the Wrangler started it, .
The Wrangler threw down the gauntlet.

The Land Cruiser replied in true fashion.

The 80 did do well though, and really made short work of it, didn't it

No stopping, and having a second "breath", just on and up, job jobbed

yes, it was a fun watch, no doubt.
and
i would be cheering for the LC ... but in the back of my mind it would be like a 5'2" wimp shooting off his mouth, taking on pro wrestler and the wrestler pummeling the poor kid. he asked for it, yes.

either way, not a fair fight.

<stick a KZJ71 instead of an 80 into the challenge and a much fairer fight.>
