I don't know if one exists but it would be great to have a list of useful sites where we can look for parts and engineering items. I'll start with a couple of electrical ones I've come across lately.
http://www.suntekstore.co.uk/category-101-b0-diy_parts_tools.html | Loads of random built circuits and sensors. |
http://www.reuk.co.uk/ | renewable energy site. Has loads of information on solar/wind power as well as loads of pre built circuits. The site is a bit "messy" though. I just bought a programmable voltage sensing relay to build split charge system |
http://www.protex.com | great for latches, catches, handles and widgets |
http://exhaustpartsuk.com | as it says, build yer own Same as Jetex really. |
http://www.bresco.com | Clips, studs, fastenings etc |
http://www.cbsonline.co.uk | Only thing they don't sell is Landcruisers |
http://gsf-promounts.com/ | drawer slides |
