Hi All,

Another LC79 GXL DC build at Croydon Toyota.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Set up for a hard life of work, but some fun off-road on the weekend as well.

Nice truck. Every time I see your posts I think you mean Toyota Croydon in the UK, only to be disappointed that you're in OZ.

Can you still buy 70's new in Australia?

Nick, you've clearly never been to Croydon in the UK then .....

What would something in that spec retail at?

SteveJB,
The tow bar and recovery points are made by Hayman Reese, its call an X-Bar. They are based out of Melbourne Australia. The bar comes standard with the recovery points. All 3 are rated to max of 8000kg! The bar also sits about 100mm higher then the stock bar.

So that's about 50k in real money (GBP), and maybe 60k landed locally.

That's the same as a new 150, that can't be right.

Someone recently said it would be 3.5k to import landed road legal at my door.

So that's a really good price.

Time to sell a kidney I think.

So does the 22% include 10 years or older?

Does that still apply if you own the vehicle for a year, in your name, before it's shipped in?

Mr Geek not that sure if the Big Oz has a natocars or even if natocars are still going under that name
