It's all guesswork from me CAT because try it and see is the only real test but i read and crossed referenced and read again over and over before opting for the 16x10 305's , now all sources said these were a true 33" - but they are not . They may even be a little smaller than the 285's on a 16x8 rim , I personally believe it's because Toyo never intended them to be fitted to a 10 inch wide rim .
By that twisted logic a 285 on a 10" wide rim should - and i repeat should bring it down to a 32" tyre which should fit truck no bother at all .
And to add to your misery all tyre brands tell lies some 37" might actually measure 35 , some 35's are a true 33 when fitted , few if any actually give the true fitted size of the tyres they sell and even when they do they leave us to guess what size wheel it was fitted to when measurements were taken
I doubt you will find a 285 that says it can be fitted to a 10 inch wide rim so your steeping outside of the guidelines if you do go that route but i would do it .
I think your flares are wider than mine .
