Windows slow and jamming

I swapped a set of rubbers out in my blue truck the other week and they actually snapped. Never had that before. I think that regardless of the life they led, they get to this age and are toast. By that time, the damage to the motors has already happened.

I tried a little trick/bodge to see if it worked before ordering new rubbers....

I took the original trims out & with a sharp blade I trimmed the inner lips off, not completely along the whole length but most of it. I left a few sections eg by the window ledge, top & bottom section, to help retain the window. Massive difference & almost as good as new (almost)

If this didn't work then its obviously new motors next before new rubbers, its worth a try & free bar time.

I've got new rubbers for all 4 and new motor mechs for the front, sadly all waiting in the shed for me to get my ass in gear.

It will happen...
